I am a happily married woman of 21 years, a proud mother of seven children, and a loving Grammy one grandson, and another grandchild on the way. Along my journey, I have acquired an Associate Degree in Early Childhood Education, as well as certifications in Administrative skills, CPR & First Aid, BSSAC, and Special Education, among others. For nearly 12 years, I have dedicated myself to the field of childcare while simultaneously fulfilling my role as a mother for the past 25 years.

My childcare journey began in the comfort of my own living room, where I cared for four wonderful children. Fueled by my passion for nurturing and supporting children, I made the decision to convert my garage into a state-certified facility, enabling me to care for up to twelve children. After a decade of successfully running an in-home center, I took a leap of faith and opened my very own childcare center.

With every child I encounter, my aim is to positively impact their lives. I firmly believe that children are precious gifts from God, and their early years play a critical role in shaping their future. By fostering effective communication, providing genuine love, facilitating early learning experiences, encouraging hands-on play, and offering unwavering support to families, I strive to empower each child to reach their fullest potential.

Above all, my ultimate goal extends beyond the confines of the childcare center. I aspire to make a meaningful difference in the world by embodying the teachings of Jesus and radiating His love to the parents, children, and staff members who have been entrusted to my care.

I have had the pleasure of working at Little Blessings since the beginning of 2019. I started out as an assistant teacher for our first building and over the years I am now the manager. It has been a great journey to grow with staff and our little ones. I have an almost 5-year-old who has been in this daycare since he was 4 months old. Because of Ms Country and the amazing staff I have watched him grow into a smart young boy who loves to play and explore. I can assure you that at Little Blessings Daycare we care for your little ones like you would, and as a mom I do recommend this Daycare.

Hello! My name is Shawna, I am the Assistant Director at Little Blessings Daycare. Even though I am new to Little Blessings, I have been a teacher to little ones for almost 10 years. It became a passion of mine when I volunteered at my daughter’s preschool and I quickly realized how rewarding teaching was. Hi there! My name is Alaina Martin. I'm a recently graduated highschool and college student, acquiring a certificate in early childhood education in the process! I've worked at little blessings since October of 2021.

As I've grown into adulthood and learned to navigate the world it's been a blessing to do so similarly with younger children. Helping them explore the world, learn boundaries and love, and grow into their own little people.

Teaching children has been a passion of mine since I was young. It's such an honor to get to witness the milestones of these children, such as learning to walk, talk, explore and communicate emotions, enjoy physical play, and overall all the joy and affection that come with small children.
